Galley Bay Resort & Spa - Antigua

Galley Bay Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive retreat on the tranquil west coast of Antigua, and enjoys forty-acres of tropical gardens between a bird sanctuary lagoon and a three-quarter mile beach.

The Resort has 94 suites and cottages as follows:
- The Gauguin cottages (approx. 268 sq.ft) They're especially popular with newlyweds who wish to unplug from the world for awhile. In the bedroom, cool, whitewashed walls, woven bamboo ceilings, louvered windows and terra-cotta tile create a rustic, Tahitian ambiance and the deep cool provided by individually controlled AC units.Bath equipped with a shower and dressing area, with louvered windows providing fresh breezes and the refreshing sensation of a beach shower. Guests can brew your morning coffee in the room, then step outside and relax on their concealed patio, with its adjoining private plunge pool the perfect spot for a romantic dip.

-Superior Beachfront Rooms (approx. 270 sq.ft) located directly on the beach and feature vaulted celings, private terraces and ensuite bathrooms with showers only. Rattan furnishings, louvered windows and colorful local art create a mood that is quintessentially Caribbean.

- Deluxe Beachfront Rooms (approx.340 sq. ft.) Located in one or two-storey buildings on the beach. These more spacious rooms feature walk-in closets, bathrooms with showers and large beach patios with beach showers. Guests can walk straight out onto the sands from the lower level rooms.

- Premium Beachfront Suites (approx. 568 sq. ft.) The largest and most luxurious beachfront accommodation. Located in two-storey buildings. Split-level suites feature a sunken living room with a wet-bar, floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views, private furnished terraces or balconies and oversized bathrooms with bidets, ‘his & hers’ showers and extra large bathtubs.

Activities: On Galley Bay's beautiful, three-quarter-mile crescent of sand, the inviting sea is a fantastic natural playground for a host of non-motorized water sports. All lessons and equipment are included.Snorkeling equipment and caring instruction is complimentary. Sailing a Sunfish for a remarkable view of the coast from offshore. Also sea kayak and navigation on the waves while exploring the extreme, rocky reaches of our beautiful cove.
For a real workout, guests can make the most of the breezes with a windsurfing experience, and if for those new to the sport, resort's staff is more than happy to help them find their feet and teach them the ins and outs of the equipment.
Sailing aboard a catamaran, and our Hobie - style boats are at your disposal during your stay at Galley Bay.

Rates:
All rates are with all-inclusive plan, in US dollars. Hotel has five night minimum stay required in winter, except February when 7 nights is required. Holiday season requires 8 night minimum. Children under age of 16 are not permitted, except Holiday season.
