A visit to South Padre Island or Port Isabel, Texas wouldn't be complete without a trip on the sailing catamaran, Southern Wave. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a cool drink while the South Texas sun puts on it's evening show for you... this is the perfect way to end your day and start your evening.
Southern Wave is a large stable catamaran, 47 ft long and 25 ft wide. This is a must do trip on South Padre Island!

During your trip, you can lay in the South Padre Island sun on our spacious trampolines or relax under the covered sundeck. Although Southern Wave can motor, you may get the chance to see her sail at speeds in excess of 15kts!
Most morning, we'll snorkel in the clear waters of the Laguna Madre, northwest of South Padre Island. Afternoons may be spent Dolphin Watching, Picnicking or Spinnaker Flying and for those less adventurous, it's a great spectator sport. We don't provide alcoholic beverages but feel free to bring your own (BYOB). For afternoon and evening charters, don't be surprised to occasionally find a local artist performing on our waterborne stage.
