Some really nice visuals of the underwater scene on St Lucia.. I have personally had some great dives on St Lucia. Marigot bay can be an excellent base to discover the best sites as otherwise you will be taking a van for an hour to get to the dive shop if for example you are based in the rodney bay area as I was. I tried a couple of operators and both had good points. Having to wear a lifejacket I found quite insulting and was a condition of the insurance that was clearly a policy the shop had that knew little about divers. Lois goes into some detail about the turtles that frequent the waters. He also speaks about some of the dive operators shops and it is clearly an easy access sport. Simon posed some good questions and hi-lighted a reason why I love the caribbean and why I prefer to come diving here - what to do AFTER diving ! St Lucia is so verdant and mountainous (being volcanic) you can do all manner of things like extreme mountain biking and climbing or more peaceful activities like a grand dinner on the beach. Don't eat the fish if you do !
