Team
Everyone that works at Aquanauts loves what they do and it shows. We all like to meet new friends and provide you with an experience to remember and come back. But there is more to the package. Gerlinde and Peter, founder and owner of Aquanauts are always there to support the team in their daily challenge for customer satisfaction. They keep up the "pressure"to make sure that the highest standards are met. The team consists of the most dedicated Instructors and Dive masters you can find on the island. All together they have many more dives in our waters under the belt than anybody else. With the support of our experienced Captains and friendly shop attendants they will make sure that you have a great time.
Equipment
At Aquanauts you will find world class dive boats, that make the difference between transportation and a dive vacation! Visit our dive boat page and see for yourself. With our fuel efficient diesel inboards we don't mind going the extra mile to more exiting dive sites, which the out boarders avoid to safe fuel. We provide diving in small groups from large comfortable boats. What is a crowd? - 12 divers on a 30 foot boat diving in 1 group or 16 divers on a 40 foot dive boat diving in 3 different groups? If you are experienced advanced divers and have your own computers we will respect your experience and let you dive your own profile. Beginners and Intermediate dive with our experienced dive masters that will make sure they are safe and comfortable. We constantly reinvest profits, to make sure that the best equipment is available. Our rental features Scubapro, we have three large Bauer compressors with automatic air quality control, Nitrox, Scooter, Digital cameras and much more....
Location
Our two convenient locations are in the vicinity of 90 % of the hotels in Grenada and we provide complimentary transfers if needed. Very important is our marina in True Blue, on the south coast, where you are always able to enter the boat from a safe dock. There are no docks on Grand Anse Beach and sometimes, when weather comes from the west it is not safe or impossible to load a boat on the beach.
Safety
For us safety comes first. All our staff is trained in First Aid/ Oxygen provider. Our guide carries a surface float on all dives, we recommend a safety sasuage for all divers and have inexpensive ones for sale.
Environment
We are also environmental conscious, depose our waste safely and enforce a strict take only pictures - leave only bubbles policy. Aquanauts installed all moorings in the Grenada Marine park and lots more on the other reefs to avoid anchoring.
