At the foot of petit piton one of the iconic mountains that makes any tourist shot of St Lucia instantly recognizable is  the dive site called Supermans Flight - as in the film Superman he flies by this peak and this being a drift dive well you get the picture.

It's not a vertical wall no, more gentle and you can do a deep dive here I hit 30 m and decided that there was nothing to see more and wanted to extend my dive so joined the others at around 25 m for the first segment. It carries on with the same topography for the reminder of the dive.

I noted the amount of bristle worms a few lion fish, trunk fish and the quality of the coral reef.

Not to mention the unique and very beauty of this spot above the water you will feel luck surfacing from this dive with the petit piton towering above you.

I can't review a regular day as there was next to no current and this drift dive normally tanks it along apparently. So we got to slow down (and Alvin dived nice n slow like I like it) and it was good - no end of bristle worms and some larger species like snappers but nothing really big. A bit of a complaint round the oceans these days. It took me a long time to get just two dives done getting back to my resort at 4pm.
