I have shown a poor judgement in where I drew the 'line' showing the original against the colour corrected underwater shot in the tropical Caribbean waters. But alas video takes some time and the point is made. Some of the better footage as it must have been quite shallow as the light was still quite good. I estimate about 12m depth.
I added the following filters
Channel Mixer : Increase red and reduce blue by same amount here was 39%
Above that add a Photo Filter red and make it about 15%
Above that add an exposure filter and play for your shots lightness and darkness
Above that add a Vibrance filter and again play with the settings.
