The Lesleen M is an inter island freighter that was sunk in 1986 by the fisheries department and is now the artificial reef of dreams. Sitting at about 22m or 60 ft she sits upright and intact. There is a mooring the boat will tie up on and you can descend quickly onto the shadowy figure.
Its the sheer quality of coral and fish life on the wreck with enough of the features of the wreck left in place like the winch that makes for added interest. Also sitting at a relatively shallow depth allows you a long dive exploring its nooks and crannies for life. You can expect morey eels scorpion fish, some pelagics off into the blue.

If there is a downside it is that there is not a reef close enough by to finish the dive off on but really you can spend 40 minutes easy on the Lesleen.

A great dive in all, hope you get to appreciate it like me. I was lucky that we were just 5 in the water - a big group could compromise the quality of the dive. I look forward to returning sometime.
